Punch-Fu!!is a ‘punch first, as questions never’ side-scroller spanning 7 countries across the world. As Koa, the man with the strongest punch in the universe, you fight your way through 7 martial arts schools, challenging Grandmasters in an effort to prove that Punch-Fu!! is the ultimate martial art.
Koa’s other goal is to create a punch so strong, it rips a hole in spacetime, allowing him to travel to the past. There he’ll be able to correct his life’s biggest mistake, and maybe even be able to forgive himself.
- Fight to Perfection: Master a deep combat system that employs distance-control, feints, blocking, weaving, dodging, parrying, and counters. An expert practitioner in Punch-Fu!!is said to be able to fell an opponent in a single blow. Punch enemies across the screen, into the air, down to the ground, and even into another dimension!
- Discover the World of Martial Arts: Throughout the game you will learn about the past history, and present of various martial arts: Laamb, Taekwondo, Jiu-jitsu, Muay-Thai, Capoeira, Gung-fu, Wing Chun, Puroresu, and of course, Punch-Fu!!
- Fall Into the Story: Unfortunately, story can often be an afterthought, especially in action-focused games. In Punch-Fu!! you’ll uncover the mysteries of Koa, how he became the man he is… What set him on this path? What terrible wrong is he trying to undo? By the end of this game, we hope that players will be left with a the lasting effects of an engaging story, a story of finding balance and learning to forgive ourselves.
